This is one of the track that got the most catchy melody. I can’t remember too much how it came up, but I think I started using that sample loop, “tuh tuh tuh tuh’ tuh-doo” and then built all the layers on that. The guitar came initially which gives the longing melody, and then the electronic piano starts with that tune that can’t get off your head 🙂
While riding, we often start humming in the intercom, and this is one of the recurrent melodies that use to come up for months. For some reason, these days it’s rather the spiderman theme (don’t ask!)
The name “Just A Funky Song” came after the music was made, but it exactly sounded like that. We haven’t used it in any video because it’s fairly short (1’56).
